The consultation is first and almost always a prerequisite for our team and is very important for you. All our services are performed in a private setting. We use sterile microprobes along with our professional grade micro pigmentation machine. The probes used, penetrate into the second layer of the skin ( dermis layer ) depositing the cosmetic pigments chosen. Our medical grade topical anesthetic will keep you comfortable but because we are implementing into the skin you may feel a sensation similar to plucking your eyebrows. The process normally takes about 2 - 3 hours but it varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements and service technique performed. Immediately after your treatment you should expect the area to look 50% darker than the color you have chosen in consultation. This will start to fade after 7-10 days.

We will provide a breathable covering for the area being treated.

A second appointment is required 6 to 12 weeks after your initial treatment. This is usually a 1 hour appointment to add more pigment if needed to the treated area. This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not “hold” as well as others and during this time we can look at the area and add what we need. It is completely normal as everyone heals differently and scar tissue effects the retention of pigment. It is required to always return for your retouch so we can complete your treatment, a second retouch may be needed due to scar tissue formation being present and other factors.

As color fades in the skin, the average time frame for a COLOR REFRESH for the Areola Tattoo is 1 - 5 years. Every individual is unique therefore the timeframe to freshen up the treated area varies. It is important to note that if you would like to keep the Areola & Nipple always looking there best it is advisable to know that your will need a refresh. Pricing will vary .

Initial Healing Period: We will apply a breathable dressing  to apply on top of the area immediately after. You will be advised to leave it for 24 hours.  Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours after the procedure. Gently blot any lymph or excess fluid that may appear with a clean tissue. Avoid touching or scratching the tattooed area to prevent infection.  You will be supplied a second dressing to apply for the 4 to 7 days thereafter. 

Aftercare Products: Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment or cream for 10 days once the area is exposed to air. 

Physical Activity and Water Exposure: Avoid swimming, saunas, hot tubs, or activities that cause excessive sweating for at least two weeks after the treatment. Keeping the area dry helps prevent bacterial growth and ensures proper healing.

Sun Protection: Protect the tattooed area from direct sunlight by wearing loose clothing that covers it or using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF. Sun exposure can fade and distort the tattoo's color. Once fully healed, continue protecting it from the sun to maintain longevity.

Avoid Picking or Peeling: Refrain from picking, peeling, or scratching the tattooed area, as it can disrupt the healing process and affect the final result. Let any scabs or dry skin naturally exfoliate on their own.

Makeup and Topical Products: Do not apply makeup, creams, lotions, or any other topical products directly on the tattooed area until it is fully healed. These products can interfere with the healing process and introduce bacteria.

Follow-up Sessions: Depending on the individual and our artist's recommendation, additional touch-up sessions may be necessary to perfect the result. Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments as advised by your tattoo artist.
